About your scan
What should I enter?
Enter ticker symbols and the number of shares you hold. You can combine stocks and supported ETFs. Start with at least two positions to get a portfolio score; a guest scan supports up to 20 holdings.
Entry is manual, with no brokerage connection or CSV upload.
What will the free scan show?
See your combined underlying exposure, ETF overlap, concentration, effective holdings, diversification score and portfolio beta. The scan also shows a weighted fund expense ratio with its coverage, plus CAPM and Historical projections.
Factor analysis and the per-fund cost breakdown are Pro features.
Why can coverage be incomplete?
We use each fund's published holdings, mostly from SEC filings. A fund we have no holdings list for (often an international fund) adds no companies. A fund made of other funds is opened one level. Prices are not real-time. See the methodology ↗
How is exposure calculated?
Your stake in each company combines your direct shares with the company’s weight inside your funds.
If a fund is 40% of your portfolio and holds 6% Apple, it adds 2.4% Apple exposure. Add a 3% direct Apple position and your combined exposure is 5.4%.
These are illustrative weights, not current fund data. Explore a worked overlap example ↗
What happens when I save?
Create and verify a free account to save your holdings, return to your portfolio and add more than 20 positions.
Saving keeps your holdings; the figures can change as market and fund data updates.
